Love's Questions
Tell me why you look so sad?
Was it something that I said?
Your face no longer holds that smile,
The smile that makes me feel worthwhile.
Was it something left unsaid?
Tell me now before my head,
Begins to ponder fearful things
Like our love has taken wings.
Did it happen on our wedding bed?
Was it because of the tears I shed?
I cried because my soul stood still,
When all my dreams became fulfill.
And now I sense you shut me out,
Are you now so full of doubt?
Do you regret us having wed?
Tell me why you look so sad?
