Love's Nakid Truth Poem by Deana Smith

Love's Nakid Truth

Rating: 5.0

Disappointed at love, we'll make up again, we always do!

To live without love, would be the greatest disappointment of all.. Life without love, would be not living at all,
Yet a life with love would be a painful embrace,
Where there is yearning, there is pain, pain brings hurt,
Hurt brings darkness, with no light to balance it out it can turn into something corrupt,
That darkness brings doubt, doubt brings distrust, distrust brings jealousy,
Jealousy brings distance, distance brings loneliness,
Loneliness is the hardest and harshest to endure,
Next comes sorrow after loneliness, sorrow brings despair,
Despair could have been kept at bay with a little care,
Fix it if you dare, don't ever forget love is rare,
I promise you won't regret it once your under love's magic flare,
Love is perfect, love is blemished, but never finished,
First to start we have lust, but we must have trust,
Here's a lesson, never have obsession,
The only thing to gain with obsession is pain,
Then we go to vain, it will drive your partner insane,
In order to lay down a foundation you must have communication..
