Love No More Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Love No More

No news
Only I knew
How torturous they had been
When restless soul was desperately driven

The days seemed shorter
The nights were looking longer
The mind was not at an ease
Where were you please?

I asked honestly
But was not expected really
To pose neither such delicate question
Not make an effort to mention

The cold wind blew
The window panes flew
Making bang noise
I had no strength or choice

“Please allow me rest”
I was feeling pain in chest
It was itching intermittently
I felt its impact instantly

Love demands no return
It has its own concern
It will inflame more
When try to extinguish and snore
