Love
never stops
fascinating and repulsing
me
or
rather the end
and absence
of said

And I am
abhorred
by the shallow
indifferent
convenient
forever ever
promises
that turn to
nothing ash
memories
of words
and images
that lingers on
in the confined
space of
head and heart
Like a fart
in an elevator
or an uninvited
guest

As
the guilty
heart
changes
heart
this heart
somehow
continues beating
beats
