Love Never Stepped Poem by Linda I. Weischedel

Love Never Stepped

What I thought was a new love nearing a end,
this was just 'his way' of mastering me as his friend,
I don't mind, yet it is a very peculiar trend.

His lips I have a massively strong desire to kiss,
my heart still stands captured in bliss.

When he and I finally unite,
I'm sure I will be singing that corny song
'Afternoon Delight' *wink* *smile*
