So cross your hands and pray
To god, chance or the devil
For the mysteries to unravel

If the secrets stay shrouded
And your prayers aren't answered
If you still feel you are lost
And everything seems to be the worst

Whenever the world seems cold
And life just will not unfold
Know that in me you can trust
I will hold you without lust

Tell me about your prayers
Even if I don't have answers
I'll take every word to my heart
I'll practice the listening art

Whisper kind words to your ear
Wipe away your every tear
Hold you like I had nothing else
Tell you the truth, not pretence

And if you don't want me to stay
