Love Me For A Thousand Years Poem by Charles M Moore

Love Me For A Thousand Years

Rating: 5.0

How I wondered how I met you
how I saw you, how I sighed
how could I just be part of you
in the twinkle of an eye

Take me deeper, touch my skin
hold my hand and take me in
catch my breath and wash my tears
and love me for a thousand years

Walk with me and talk with me
let me hear your laughter fly
let me hold your naked body
lay beside me in the night

Tell me that you'll be part of me
tell me that I'm part of you
take away my many fears
and love me for a thousand years

How I wondered how I met you
how you touched my tender side
and brought to me a little light
and brought to life a heart that died

I could only be part of you
you were always part of me
we should surely be together
love me for a thousand years.
