Love Lost Poem by Jessica Reid

Love Lost

Watching the lures slip away,
Through the darkness and decay
That is all our closed eyes,
Please stay with me tonight.
Have I lost you?
My star-kissed dreamer.
You won’t come back to me,
No matter how long I sleep.
Time can’t heal you
When the hour glass runs empty,
Can’t feel a chill in the air
While encased in ice.
