Love Life (A Shakespearean Sonnet) Poem by Biswajit Ganguly

Love Life (A Shakespearean Sonnet)

My expression in this poem became quite mechanical due to maintenance of iambic pentameter throughout the poem.

I knew your pain as I love you so much,
I can feel your depth of unspoken love,
I wonder what joy your bonding can fetch-
Truly pleasure of life filled with love.

Without you with whom I shall share my love?
It is very hard to interpret my tale,
Nobody has time for understanding love,
All they know is cheap love stories for sale.

Grey rain drops reminded me silent tears,
That fell on your cheeks while going abroad,
My world was suddenly filled with fears,
Hope to marry you reached end of the road.

Take me to the nice place where you have gone,
Or else, I shall wait for you, dear woman.
