Electric Lady

Love Is The Sugar Darling

Why do I keep doing this to myself?
Once again my heart is beating upside down
And my head is racing
You know what?
I'm in love
I'm in love with the moon
I think the moon should be president
Who's with me?
I can't live like this anymore
I have to speak the truth
If I don't declare war now
Then I'm screwed
I wanted Oprah to be the next president
But she won't do it
Do you think she will?
There is still hope
In this forbidden circus I call a world
Yes the world is a forbidden circus
Full of emotionally hysterical clowns
And conniving little animals
And that is the ultimate icing on the cake
I'm weird
I'm twisted
I'm tangled up in blue
But as God as my witness
I will never eat goat cheese again
Thanks everybody.

For forty years from dawn to dark —
Alone beside Caermarthen Bay.
