Love Is
Love is, listening to her rhythmic heartbeats
Imagining her assurances with every beat.
Love is, touching her like the softest feather,
Going to sleep touching together.
Love is, past midnight doing pillow talks,
Stretching them till the morning walks.
Love is, to awaken her with a gentle touch,
And unfold an intention without saying much.
Love is, to smile a while, watching her asleep,
Appreciating her innocence with feelings deep.
Love is, to get up and pull the curtains aside,
Just to moonlight her face at the dead of night.
So happy to see a poem with the title -" Love Is" . What i love about this poem is the gentle touch, like the softest of feathers, a sensitive and delicate treatment given to the queen of emotions - love! I have always believed and maintained that love is much, much higher, loftier and profound when it is soulful. ......Beautiful poem...Khairul Sahab........10
