Distant Shores

Love is

Love is love
love is hate
it is above
whatever fate
love crumbles
when heart stumbles
love saves
forgotten slaves
love is enough
when everything fades
love gets rough
in freezing shades
love turns to ash
when we clash
love's not enough
and life gets tough
watch love rise
without disguise
watch love fall
like leaves in fall
love is tall
so nice n all
but sometimes love
can't stand the shove
where we stand
do our hearts blend
you need to mend
to your best friend
