Love In Motion (1)

When love lays wide through Christ our door
Whatever fools may say
Upholding God’s eternal law
Will surely win the day

Love is the way to self demise
The root to live again
The source through which true prayer can rise
And Jesus Christ’s amen

Love is the plant from Heaven’s Seed
The kern of God on high
The fruit from which the world should feed
In order not to die

Love’s a fountain life’s bubbling spring
A river to fill a sea
A tune to dance a song to sing
And Heaven’s door the key

Love causes cups to overflow
Can lift a soul once cursed
Allowing love to truly grow
Could quench the world of thirst

God’s love to man has been revealed
On Calvary’s cross made clear
And those this love has tightly sealed
Salvation will appear

Does not God’s Lamb deserve our love?
Warrant our heartfelt praise?
Let sweet aroma rise above
Throughout our life long days

When love becomes our breath of air
Our drink our daily bread
Our God could use us anywhere
To even raise the dead
