Love Had Seduced Me Poem by Arnie Hicks

Love Had Seduced Me

inevitable as a sunrise,
advancing like a calming mist
over a tortured and tumultuous sea,
she leaks in through my every pore;
the healing touch of an angel.
dampening hesitation and doubt,
awakening a passion i had long thought lost to light,
this woman, this whisper of the gods,
had - in the blink of an eye -
turned the barren plains of my existence
into a garden of spiritual ecstasy;
a second chance... a rebirth...
love had seduced me.
