Love Ends Differences Poem by Afzal Shauq

Love Ends Differences

Rating: 5.0

Its me and you
who seek to quench
this thirst of hungry hearts
seeming the same in thoughts
respecting each other
Beloved....
struggling like a man
when you look at me
I want to fight
for women rights
though I am a man

Beautiful poem, fine theme. In the competent way the author is telling the thought, which should be a driving force, for the compensation of all laws, behind the action in favour. In civilised world any differences are unthinkable between the woman and the man. The woman must have the same laws and the respect. Only not-realize the society can not understand it. Very good poem.(10v.) Maria Barbara Korynt

Its me and you who seek to quench this thirst of hungry hearts seeming the same in thoughts respecting each other Beloved.... Very inspiring and deep poem. You really know how to catch the readers attention and make them listen to you and be inspired by your work and feel the same emotions you were feeling as you wrote it.10+

What better than love eliminating differences can there be? I really like this line: ¨ I want to fight for women rights though I am a man¨ Its very inspiring to see that now a days even some men have a heart to worry for our rights as well. It’s unbelievable how love can overcome every little thing. You got talent my friend. Don’t stop writing its pretty inspiring.

As W. H. Auden said, “Poetry is memorable speech.” This poem asserts a poetic attribute, utilizing methods common to poetry. Moreover, these features of the poem, the self-reflection and the universality of thought show that the poem has reached some of the most important ideas of the lyric style. The poem serves to elate the imagination of the reader. The poet tries to develop his style, by using ''a universal code of human experience”, as Petrarch said....10+
