Love Dance Poem by Sallie Howson

Love Dance

Rating: 4.8

The fresh white page
Teases the pen
Giving her the old
“Come hither”.
The pen flirts back
Fluttering her eyelashes.

And then it starts
Their circling
And stamping,
Coming together
And pulling apart.
The pokes
And strokes,
Their elegant
Dance of love
Leaving a trail
For all to see.
