Love And Set It Free Poem by Paul Sebastian

Love And Set It Free

Rating: 4.0

Should I confess honestly to you
That, I am I managing through?
Should I drag you into my pain
Unfairly, cause your heart to strain?

Should I make you feel guilty
Cause you to feel sorry and pity?
Should I hold you accountable
When consensually we love-dabbled?

You wanted to be free
So I let you, at peace, be
Love's responsibility is hard to bear
Wants and needs begin to stare

Own needs you want to meet
Your life sorted out to be neat
Find your own secret love's niche
There, flourish as you wish

Love has a price
It is sacrifice
It is in trusting
It is in committing

True love is to love and set you free
To allow do as you please, let you be
Love does not dominate or control
Manipulation is never a tool
Love makes no conditions or demands
It is In freedom, you happily abound

Thank you for your appreciation. To be in love is a beautiful experience but it also has a cost to it.
