Love And Ecstasy Poem by Gerry Legister

Love And Ecstasy

How the struggle of love goes
It doesn't always shows
The public picture it tells,
When imperfection falls.
Wrapped up in pain and mystery
With the struggles of love and ecstasy.
When the day has gone
And the week passed on.
A month will be even longer
When the heart is missing the love of splendor.
Ego is getting weaker at the knees,
Pride tearing forgiveness into pieces.
With one kind word the agony will depart,
And love and ecstasy rejoiced in the heart.
