Love Among The Ruin Poem by jackie compton

Love Among The Ruin

They say it better to love and lost, than to not loved at all
But they are all wrong.
For I have loved among the ruin.

I have walked in the land of disposable compassion.
None renewable emotions.
Yes world and everyone.

I have loved among the ruin.
Where tenderness is lost art.
Forgiveness can not be found.
Yes world.

I have loved among the ruin.
Where the sun of faithfulness does not shine, and
the bad Moon of doubt is all way full.
I have loved among the ruin.

For I can fill no more.
Lost is the will to find companionship.
Gone is the ability to love and be happy..
They are wrong to say.

It is far better to have love and lost, than not loved at all.
For they have never ever.
Loved among the ruin.
