Love After The Battle Of 'Never Win' Poem by Bruce David

Love After The Battle Of 'Never Win'

For those that fight the battle of 'never win'
And struggle beneath the crushing load of potent loss
I say, 'Cry! '

Then grit your teeth...And
When worthlessness and hopelessness
Try and nail YOU to the cross
Remember, One has lost it all...And
Was worth dust
That YOU might win...And
Have undying worth in Him!

In college I realized that my worth
did not come from my grades or
my own 'never win' efforts, but only
from Jesus' declaration of my worth.
