Love Poem by kristin foster

Love

Rating: 2.0

Discovering...I pull myself into her eyes
Beyond my reflection I bathe in a tempest of thought
Like a modern day Columbus I set sail in epic journey
On the seas of her mind I am tossed like a cork

I seek the answer to a thousand questions
Past present and future are one as I strain to breathe
The world seems to stop as she is my anchor
To let go would be to fall from the edge of life

Devoured by the dragons within my mind
The darkness turns to morning light
Questions remain as does my reflection in her eyes
It was there...in her eyes...that I found myself
