Love Poem by latoya fleming

Love

Rating: 5.0

Love,
It’s a power of emotions,
Overflow of caring and unwilling….
To let you go,
You ever had love,
But,
Just didn’t know how to treat it,
You curse the name,
Ignoring the voice,
“You gon lose a good man”,
Knowing that many women,
Many,
Envy you cause of the unconditional love you have,
Instead you just hurt,
The man you love,
Accusations,
Knowing you’re guilty,
Knowing he wouldn’t dare,
Because to him,
Losing you is losing his life,
Cocky,
Just knowing that if only he knew,
He still wouldn’t leave,
The fear is,
If he knew,
He would leave,
Leaving you lifeless,
So why do the things we do,
Why hurt your gift,
Why destroy a blessing,
Why kill the love,
That women you know would desire,
But,
Instead of taking this love,
Embracing this love,
You abandon it,
Is it something within,
Or is it that fear,
Of hurting again,
Instead of being selfish,
Put aside the games,
Put aside your pride,
And just love,
Love,
Love,
Love that man,
Adore this man,
Because he considers you….
His queen,
Treat him like the king,
You know he is,
Is it that hard.

A fine poem. Add a question mark to the last line and it will be perfect. Thanks.
