Digging deep into my heart lie something great for you
it peacefully sleeps
Entwined and secure there …
just there
just waiting
Such has been the situation for, love,
who is a prisoner
inside the prison of my heart
It is interesting
….many have come to set him free
but love...
this prisoner
ends up locked down there
Dear love,
that to him I may say,
Trying to persuade him to live freely,
At times he says yes, but is never really free
But he mentions your name to be fully free
Enough of this suffering to him I may say,
that makes him even want to stay unless you come to the rescue
Rules and regulations of the heart
he has learnt
and my support he has
Allow him to be free,
let him show you what he has learnt in my heart
Tend to him and let him befriend you,
telling you what my heart is all about
And then you can fully understand that love of you
awaits you in my heart
