Love Poem by Kimara Young

Love

I wish I'd never known you
For my world now seems much duller
My eyes grow tired of everything else
And I've lost all sense of color
Have you not run throughout my mind
A million times already?
Tire soon, I beg of you
I long for my breathing to steady
And as your heart is not your own
So mine aches as it beats
My world, collapsed like a broken dream
As my love admits defeat.
