I wanna hold you
And never let go,
But every time I turn around and look into your eyes,
I can see every lie,
Day after day after day,
I cry.

Because you never believed,
When all I did was try,
Try everything you wanted me to,
I believed you,
Do you not believe it’s true?

Everything I said from these three words,
To the words 'I promise' and 'I try'
But you make me cry,
Every time I think about you leaving me
I can’t help but cry,
Why can’t you take this pain away,
You want me to just walk away,
I told you that I love you,
And you didn’t believe me.
