Lost You But Love You All Together Poem by Marcquiese Burrell

Lost You But Love You All Together

If you feel you're any worthy of my affection
Than do me a favor and get rid of
your whatever you may want to call it
But don't you go around playing with people's heart
And I think it's obvious who catches your interest
So, If it's me or your friend than let us down easy
There ain't no need in making things difficult
You may not know how much I like you
And I may have even fantazies a little of loving you
The moments we'd shared don't you forget it
Just know that I won't lower myself to your expectations
And that I won't end up in disagreements with another
And if you're looking for something that interest me none at all
Than you have what you were looking for, just not in me
Different priorities although you've than gone with your decision
Just know that I wish you much happiness with your relationship
Though I'm not in your life, I'm in love with you still
But, did I not tell you what I was looking for?
You've took that into consideration
Maybe you've assumed that I wasn't genuine
And just went along with someone else
