Lost Within Poem by Garrett Nakai

Lost Within

I'm Lost In My Mind And Thoughts,

I'm Left With Things That I Sought,

I'm Backtracking The Things I Bought,

I'm Thinking Of The Fights I Fought,

I'm Remembering Those That I Taught,

I'm Lost And I Have Become A Ghost,

So Close To Being A Host,

I'm Left With Needles In My Heart,

Left To Bleed Dry For My Soul To Part,

I'm Backtracking My Every Footstep,

Seeing How Far Are My Depths,

I'm Thinking How Can I Possibly Return,

While I've Just Seen Everything Burn,

I'm Remembering How I Use To Be,

When I Was A Child That Was Free,

My Thoughts Are Lost,

And So Am I,

What I Sought Was What I Forgot,

And The Things I Bought Turned To Robots,

The Fight I Fought Was Just Part Of The Plot,

And Those That I Taught Their Minds Did Not Rot,

And Still I Feel Lost I Still Wanna Not,

Be Forgotten And Lost Forever.
