Lost What I Never Had Poem by sherry hiss

Lost What I Never Had

Rating: 4.0

I am walking alone in the street
with thousand thoughts in my mind
the thoughts about my aspirations, my needs n my life
the heart craves for every good thing
every good thing that others have n i dont
the things that i lost.
i have lost my dreams
i have lost my desires
i have lost my very soul that was mine
yesterday night night i cried for my loss
i cried for the shattered dreams
i cried for my paining soul
n let me tell one more thing
i have never cried this much before
with the light of today i have realised
i was crying for the things that were never mine
but still the loss is mine
because i have lost something that was not even mine
the ending of the story is indeed sad
because i have lost something that i never had

(1) Contradictions...which is normal with us humans. (2) Still trying to find something you never had? ? ! ! (3) I'd rather that you find that LOST SMILE....even a fake one (temporarily) will do....! ! (4) After that, you'll discover you always had a genuine smile, which you keep on misplacing every minute. (5) Let me know the end result. Cheers. Subroto
