Lost Stranger Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Lost Stranger

Lost, a stranger in a familiar world,
unable to connect or become a part of it.
Struggling to participate, failing
consistently without any effort.
Calmly resigned to the facts of this
mundane universe, untied, untitled to
my stay on earth.
Quietly existing, putting in time, so
one day soon everything will end.

Beautiful poem. Everyone experiences this alienated feeling in any point of life. One has to move on....

Being left a stranger in familiar surroundings and being alienated in a group is perhaps an instance of great mental disturbance and agony! One time or the other, all of us have to pass through such experiences! But greater are the times, we feel happy in a company! Let us learn to handle such ups and downs in life with equanimity! Enjoyed!
