Lost Soul Poem by True Eyes

I wrote a thank you letter to a lost soul
Who appeared in my dreams
She was awkwardly perfect in all the ways that I wanted to be
She peered at me with beautiful, small eyes
And although she had dimples; hers weren’t as deep as mine

She looked at me as if I were a queen
Without admiration
She gazed with such insight that I asked her what was wrong
And an isolated tear
Fell from a perfect eye

She said I’m your soul
And now you know how beautiful you
Are
