Lost On England's Country Lanes
Travelling through the magic night
so romantic ~ so inviting!
driving 'neath a dim-lit sky
but with our lovelight shining.
Sitting quietly side by side
where no human soul can find us
'make believe' has come alive
doubts are far behind us.
Tonight the sea is dark and wild
but coastal lamps are sparkling,
we are lost on country lanes my love,
we are lost my dearest darling.
