Lost: Nakusangawa? Poem by Mugano S. Paul

Lost: Nakusangawa?

When the mountains seemed too hard to climb,
When rivers seemed too wide to cross,
When oceans seemed too troubled…
You were the friend so close by my side.
It was so real,
Now it is a dream

When all doors closed,
When the sun went down,
When the rivers ran dry…
You were the friend so close by my side.
It was so real,
Now it is a dream

When the flowers withered,
When the songs faded,
When the ink dried…
You were the friend so close by my side.
It was so real,
Now it is a dream
