Groping around in the darkness
Looking, searching, waiting
For some reason to smile
Silence, is all I hear
Silence, is all I feel
Looking for lost memories

I try to focus
On the roses and not the thorns
But I am too weak
Helpless is all I am
Helpless in this dark
Looking for lost memories

Where’s the hand? Where’s my guide?
Where’s my love?
Where’s my pride?
Empty, that’s what I am
Empty, like this barren land
