Lost Love Poem by Scarborough Gypsy

Lost Love

Rating: 3.9

My heart reminds me of the ring
I wore when you once cared
It’s broken in some places
And nothing can be done
To mend the damage
The gold band is the memories
Still bright and not yet worn dull
But the missing stones
Is love now lost
Never to be replaced
Because pain was the price it cost
What once was beautiful is now ruined
We have both found someone new
As time goes by my love may fade
But will never die
And to me
Although you weren’t true
You’re still special

You got a ten from me because it comes straight from the left ventricle. Very good. H
