Lost Love Poem by Elizabeth C. Okagbare

You held on too tight my dear
for fear that you might lose me
So afraid another man might come along
and chose me
I never searched for love elsewhere
never strayed to another bed
But you tried to hold me physically
and lost my heart instead

I like it, I like it. That is a well said, well defined poem. Read mine - Bloom of Youth - and think of it as being just for you! Then read - Everybody Has Had Somebody -
