~lost In Transition~ Poem by Soulful One

going from one place to another
between the poles of here and there
wherever there leads
or ends up being
some unknown place and time
that is not here now
or even the there of yesterday
transition
is an uneasy place to be
full of unknown
potential
possibility
nothing fixed
or set in mud
ready to be swept away
by any easy rain
or breeze that comes my way
leaving behind
what is known but
no longer works
no longer fits
no longer enough
pushing me out
pushing me forward
to go between
known and unknown
transition
going from one to the other
from who I was before
to who? ? ?
I cant see her yet
to know for sure
someone who will
look like me
but more
different
me but not me, yet
and right now
I’m still in the dark
unknown not yet known
lost somewhere
in this transition,
but steadily moving
onward
