Lost In Time Poem by Bolami lawal

Lost In Time

I came to time
And found it
A faithful host
Of an imperial breed
Immortal, immutable
Time lived;
Time is to live
Like a passer - by
I board into time
And as such
I depart

I came to time
And found it
Mystic, void;
A fragile weapon
Travelling as light
I heave into time
But not without a strife
Buying up every moment
In time to live
I lived in time; and
Was lost in it
Everyday like a race
I lived

I came to time
And found it not
My faithful host
Ran into a halt, and
My portion;
It will no longer hold
I called,
Yet it tarried
Alas!
Man exited time,
And unto no form
He returned.
Once again;
Man failed to redeem time!
