Lost In Cleverness Poem by Stephen Wylie

Lost In Cleverness

We're lost in our own cleverness:
spy devices follow us.
Everywhere there's security;
nowhere are we secure.
The motives of power are never pure:
it's not in human nature,
we don't know any cure.
