Lost Hearts Strong Hearts Poem by louis rams

Lost Hearts Strong Hearts

Rating: 5.0

how many lost hearts are in this world?
grown men and women
young boys and girls.

different hearts for different loves
all seeking the answers from above.

the lost heart when somebody
departs from this earth.
a lost heart when a woman gives birth.

the lost heart of a dream shattered
which was 'all in your life that mattered'.
the lost heart of a man for a woman
and a woman for the man
when they decide to take a stand.
but! the lost heart does not need a hand.

the human heart is the only
thing in this life, that has outlived
everything in this world.

it was placed gently in our chests
for this was where it suited it best.
it has learned all the emotions
pain, passion, heartbreak, sorrows, joy
and all that came its way
and in this world will forever stay.

Thoughts on love and on the heart which is the symbol of love. A poem that brings us back to essentials and an awareness of where love begins.10.

Human heart is a very amazing instrument indeed.. At times it can be the fountain of love, at times it can even generate generate destructive rage... Yet, if you allow love to take charge it can do wonders... We really don't know the power of human heart. if your heart is stained with filth, it can even cause major destruction.. This is a very nice piece of work.. Good to read.. Regards Shan
