Lost And Found Poem by Carly Smith

Lost And Found

Rating: 5.0

A consummate liar, unfortunately so
Delusional and devious.-self righteous and more
A believer in fate..of serendipity I concurr
Of prophecy, ethreal, of karmas infer
A romantic at heart. idealism my tool
Invariably denied, always the fool
The fundamentals of life..increasingly blaired
My right of passage inevitably deferred
But I lost my way., my desire to achieve
Born of the chaos I sought to decieve
On the edge of insanity and the fringe of the world
My road to perdition naturally unfurled
And in this instinctive progression
Paradox, ominous and cold
I ventured with prudence with Hope and was bold
Till I again tasted life and its accompanying endeavors
Held true to my beliefs and a million forevers
And could breathe on my own sans substance or favour
Felt able to laugh..deserved my vandour
Was grateful for time and saw life for its splendour
