Lost And Found Poem by Kevin Seales

Lost And Found

I get up in the morning
And get myself dressed
All without making a fuss

I brush my teeth
And I do my best
Before I get on the bus

It's cold outside
I better wear my coat
And remember to bring it home

But when school was out
I forgot my note
Now I feel all alone

I hung it up high
High on a hook
I didn't think it would fall

But later that day
I went and I looked
It was nowhere in the hall

My teacher says
Come with me
Let's take a look around

We'll look in the classroom
To see what we see
And then onto lost and found

Remember your coat
Or whatever you wear
Don't leave it lying around

If you can't find it here
And you can't find it there
Look in the lost and found
