Lost Poem by Israh Sadan

Lost

Bloody Petals
In my palm
I had promised
You no harm.
What a pretty flower
Plucked too soon
Born at dawn and
Dead by noon.
My pretty bud with
a crimson smile
You nearly bloomed
For a while.
These petals I place
on your grave
Little innocent life
I couldn't save.

I lost a little angel the day she was born as well, wow, no wonder I can relate to your poetry.
