Lost Poem by Lawerence Mize, Sr.

Lost

When the day is long
hope for help not in sight
Gather your strength
to make it through another night

Don't look for answers
keep moving straight ahead
You'll soon find a place
to make your bed

Don't let your troubles
weigh you down
There's always tomorrow
when better times will come around

You'll live to see the sun
rise yet again
Feel its warmth on your skin
like a kiss from an old friend

Keep walking ahead
never lose sight
Forget the cold
as you steer through the night
