Looking Glass Poem by Katy Tuten

I've finally found you my one true love
As you dance so gracefully like a dove
I walk over slowly not sure what to say
You walk to me swifly without delay

My arms outstreached, your eyes glisten brightly
You look at me and hesitate ever so slightly
You give me a crooked smile as you pass by
As I turn around and start to sigh

You relax slightly in his embrace
but turn around only to see my saddened face
I look into your eyes, deep into your soul
Like looking through a looking glass where my heart has been stole
