Looking down from velvet skies
The stars beckon me
To join them up there
In the peacefulness of night
To look down on the world
Sending twinkling wishes of sweet dreams
And dance around the moon
Telling stories of greatness
Perhaps even shuttle down into the darkness
Granting the wish of a hopeful heart
Looking down from velvet skies
The stars beckon me
To join them in their life of beauty
