look! look, there's a light
in the midst of the shadows a light
in the shadows there is light
can we make it through this night?
can we? make it through the night
doom hanging over our heads
like an eagle making for the plunge
but not yet not yet not yet
not with the light in the shadow!
look, look and tell is it hope of heaven
or a hope of hell this light which burns
and burns so bright in the night
making ashes out of bone
look, and behold your home
