Look At The Eyes Of Clouds Poem by Marco Angelo

Look At The Eyes Of Clouds

Rating: 4.5

Have you ever looked at the tears of the sky?
have you ever noticed how we hear these lies?

but when i saw the eyes of clouds in the fall,
i believed that i can climb the sky's wall

those eyes were full of hope,
i changed a little and modestly bowed

i noticed that the leafs are so weak,
because they leave the trees and fall down so sick

and they sell their loyalty and choose the ground,
while the clouds always stay in the sky's bound

i don't know if i have ever written or spoken of multiple leaves as leafs, but i see (below at the end of the copied definition) that leafs IS an alternate spelling for the plural form for leaf. from a google site: 1 leaf noun, often attributive \'lef : one of the flat and typically green parts of a plant that grow from a stem or twig : a sheet of paper in a book : a part that can be added to or removed from a table to change the size of its top surface plural leaves also leafs - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Have you ever looked at the tears of the sky? have you ever noticed how we hear these lies? .............i don't understand what you refer to with these lies. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - but when i saw the eyes of clouds in the fall, i believed that i can climb the sky's wall .............fall/wall is a good rhyme, but i don't get the idea of climbing the sky's wall. what does that have to do with seeing the eyes of clouds. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - I DO like these last two lines: and they sell their loyalty and choose the ground, while the clouds always stay in the sky's bound .................does bound refer to boundary? maybe i would write while the clouds always stay in the skies, bound ...........this does have a different meaning, but i like it better. the clouds are bound up/tied up in the skies. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - those eyes were full of hope, i changed a little and modestly bowed ..............i wonder what the significance of these two lines is. - - - - - - - - - - - i noticed that the leafs are so weak, because they leave the trees and fall down so sick.............i don't know if a botanist would say this, but it is an interesting way of thinking about the falling leaves. - - - - - - - - - - - - thanks for sharing. bri ;) good of you to write in english, as i do not read italian.
