Lonliness Poem by mercy jacobs

lonliness knows all i keep inside
lonliness saps me of my needed joy
and leaves me with this words (am lonely)

lonliness found me once and its been around since then
lonliness i can say has a room in my heart
but however much i try to chase it out of its room however much
it hurts me.

but all at once i remembered something,
something you yourself said.
whenever you are lonely call me and i will be there.
i said your name and lonliness left me.
then and only then i knew you are my miracle.
i love you.
