Longing Poem by Lucia Stefanovici

Longing

Yes, the volcanos must be cleaned,
otherwise they would reverse
over the whole planet.
Yes, my Little Prince,
the monkey bread trees must be snatched
from the Earth,
from the mind,
from the heart,
otherwise they would destroy us.
The time of your planet
flows through your heart.
Sad and good,
you always ask
until you find
the answer.
But if your leaving
brought you good
next to your flower,
next to your sheep,
I am sure that
when you sadly look a sunset
you long for the Earth
as for a star.
