Longing Poem by maria laura balbuena

Longing

Rating: 5.0

Behind the horizon of happiness lies a misery truth in it,
‘coz loneliness governs every loss which avid the warm touch and
embrace of a divine heart.

A touch that can justify the beauty of life itself,
that every being is permissible to experience how it swivels
and to discern its meaning and purpose.

A touch that amends life’s vision headed for a broaden impact of one’s thought which could nourish the immature belief of one’s heart.

An embrace that could protect for whatever battles to be faced,
that aids a shattered heart to progress and shine.

And embrace that could fill the emptiness felt within
And help wipe the tears fallen from a broken stained heart.

If only…but it’s too late…
